About Me.
I began dancing in my childhood and started studying oriental dance in 2004, exploring various styles along the way. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that I found my true passion in tribal fusion belly dance. Over the years, I’ve trained with a range of talented instructors in Helsinki and learned from renowned international dancers.
Initially, I pursued an academic career, securing funding for a Ph.D. and working in nature conservation in an international NGO. However, the call to dance grew stronger, leading me to establish my dance business in 2022. Now, I am a full-time belly dancer.
I believe it’s essential to understand and respect the culture and history behind dance. While deeply connected to traditional oriental dance and Arabic music, I’m also passionate about Persian music. This curiosity led me to study Persian language, culture, and literature. I continually explore different cultures and dance styles and have completed a diploma in Oriental Dance Theory.
I teach tribal fusion belly dance classes in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, offer workshops, and provide tailored online classes in both Finnish and English. I also perform as much as possible.

Doctoral Researcher

I worked as a doctoral researcher at the University of Turku. During my doctoral studies in the Biology, Geography, and Geology program, I also completed coursework in pedagogy and multicultural studies.

University of Helsinki
I pursued a Master’s degree in Environmental Change and Global Sustainability at the University of Helsinki. My studies focused on consumer citizenship, consumer behavior, climate change, and the French language. This multidisciplinary program equipped me with the skills to address global environmental and sustainability challenges.

Bachelor of Science

I studied Environmental Change and Policy, focusing primarily on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Additionally, I expanded my knowledge through a multidisciplinary study module, gaining insights from various fields.
